- Wiring looms were re-routed with consideration of future maintenance

- A number of rotary and fixed wing aircraft were fitted out for Fire Service 2002 - 2004
- One major project, VH-KSV, logged 600 hours directly after the rewire - due to RFS's preference for use of this aircraft which was directly attributed to it's superior avionics fitout
- The Labour cost of electrical and avionics rewire and installs - approx $50,000 - was easily recouped within a week of flying service for the Rural Fire Service
